An integral part in the planning of True North Festival 1998 was the
production of media documentation. The one hour video documentary of
the Festival was a cooperative effort between the Foundation, the
Taiwanese Government Information Office (GIO), and York University
in Toronto, Canada.
The GIO generously provided a fully-equipped film crew and vehicle
for collecting onsite video footage, and York University Fine Arts
provided post-production facilities. Following the completion of the
video in 1999, it was launched in a special screening at the Art
Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, followed by four years of broadcast
across Canada on Bravo Cable TV.
