The Boreal Orchestra is a non-profit volunteer community-based ensemble that offers free performances and outreach events in the Greater Toronto area and Southern Ontario. The season runs from September to June, and rehearsals are bi-weekly.

The orchestra is open to all ages, from high school and university students to adults and seniors. The concept is to play challenging in-depth works by great composers, and to share the joy of musicmaking with other members of our community.
